The Green Indoors #3: Happy Hallowe’en!

Halloween pumpkin owl

Ok, I know it’s silly. But it’s still bringing the outdoors into my home…

I drew this little owl with a Sharpie, after being inspired by some amazing designs on Instagram.

I grew this fantastic white variety of pumpkin for the first time this year and it’s been really successful with very little help from me. Since my last post, I’ve left my previous allotment and made progress with my new one. These pumpkins were the last crop harvested from my old plot and so it feels right to make something of a display. Although, ultimately they’ll all be eaten. Even the little long-eared owl, which I’m already feeling guilty about!

I promised that I’d update you with new plot news, and I will do that soon. I know things have continued to be quieter around here, and they will do for some time to come. But I am making lots of progress in getting my Maker Day sorted out, so if you’re interested, do keep coming back here, because this is where I’ll share updates and where eventually you’ll be able to buy your tickets…

But for now, my little owl and I wish you all a happy and safe Hallowe’en…
